Folsom Lake Symphony Brings Over a Decade of Magic to Live on the Boulevard

Aug 30, 2025

For more than a decade, the Folsom Lake Symphony has been a cornerstone of Live on the Boulevard, delighting the El Dorado Hills community with performances that span genres, moods, and eras. This past Thursday, under the masterful baton of Conductor Peter Jaffe, the Symphony delivered a truly dazzling evening of music along the Town Center waterfront.

The program was a vibrant mix, from the timeless harmonies of The Beatles to the stirring melodies of Wicked the Musical, and even a 70s disco favorite, complete with a sparkling disco ball that made the entire community shine with lights and soul. Families, friends, and music lovers of all ages gathered to enjoy the stunning performance, united by the joy of live music in their own backyard.

A special thank you goes to the incredible sound and lighting crew from Canaan Sound and Light whose expert work ensured that every note, every beat, and every shimmer of light reached the audience flawlessly. Their efforts made the evening not just a concert, but an experience to remember.

We are grateful to the Folsom Lake Symphony, Conductor Peter Jaffe, and everyone involved in bringing this beloved tradition to life year after year. Thank you to all of our Live on the Boulevard concert sponsors including our main series sponsors Sky River and Marshall. Here’s to many more nights of beautiful music and community celebration at Live on the Boulevard!
